JUD CHIEF WARNS INDIA TO QUIT KASHMIR

Jamaat-u-Dawah(JUD) chief  Hazif Muhammad Saeed warned India to quit kashmir or get prepared for the war.Addressing a rally of about 20,000 supporters on the Mall, one of the main thoroughfares of Lahore, Saeed said in a belligerent tone: "I want to give a message to (Indian Prime Minister) Manmohan Singh  quit Kashmir or get ready to face a war".
They shouted for the slogan "Kashmir hamara  ha aur Kashmir  ki ajadi tak hamari jang rehagi ".Their chief also said "If freedom is not given to the Kashmiris, then we will occupy the whole of India including Kashmir. We will launch Ghazwa-e-Hind (the battle for India). Our homework is complete to get Kashmir,"

METRO REACHES DELHI AIRPORT

It has been reported that from 20th feb metro will reach the Delhi airport.The country's first such corridor, which connects the city's main shopping centre of Connaught Place to the Indira Gandhi International Airport.Passengers can even check the status of their flights at these swanky stations. To begin with, only a few airlines will set up their counters but the Delhi Airport Metro Express Private Ltd, the association that will run the Line, is confident that others will follow soon..

WFP Global Hunger Stats


Every year, authors, journalists, teachers, researchers, schoolchildren and students ask us for statistics about hunger and malnutrition. To help answer these questions, we've compiled a database of useful facts and figures on world hunger.

GLOBAL HUNGER

  • 925 million people do not have enough to eat - more than the populations of USA, Canada and the European Union;

NO SPACE TO KEEP FRESH WHEAT


Last year tonnes of wheat was destroyed as there was no space to keep that wheat .Now again this year our goverment is still not prepared.In April-May, a fresh crop of wheat will be ready for harvest: Roughly 140 lakh metric tonnes. Food Corporation of India will buy about 70% of the produce but the question is where will it store the wheat? 
Already, it has kept 50 lakh metric tonnes of wheat out in the open for lack of space in its storages.Goverment said last year that 70 lakh metric tonnes of storage would be created in Punjab alone in two years.

One year has passed but goverment has only managed to create space for 13 lakh metric tonnes of grains.Now where will the wheat go it will get destroyed obviously like last year.
On the other hand Pawar(union agriculture minister) said there is no free wheat for poor people.Pawar ji please use that wheat for power people

EGYPT DISCUSS PLANS FOR MUBARAK EXIT

As for the condition going on in Egypt .So there was a discussion held in white house.Where the discussion was held with the official of Egypt on a proposal of president Hosini Mubarak to resign imediately.The proposal also calls for the transitional government to invite members from a broad range of opposition groups, including the banned Muslim Brotherhood, to begin work to open up the country's electoral system in an effort to bring about free and fair elections in September, the officials said.
